Company Overview
American Cupcake is a restaurant and "carnival lounge" creating fantastical twists on comfort food classics. AC brings an imaginative style to Union Street, with an inventive food menu and Willy Wonka-meets-Space Odyssey interior. Think white patent leather banquettes, color-changing "gumball lights" spanning the ceiling, fried chicken and Lone Star beer.

Description
Lunch, dinner, dessert, and "candy cocktails" are served all day and until midnight on weekends. Brunch now served on weekends! Try AC's most famous dish, Red Velvet Fried Chicken, or newer creations such as Candy Apple Ribs, Pink Popcorn Shrimp, and the ultimate Lobster Roll. Sip from an eclectic craft beer and wine list, "cupcake flights" (3 mini cupcakes paired with 3 tastes of wine or beer), boozy milkshakes, and seasonally infused libations featuring everything from edible flowers to Pop Rocks.

American Cupcake is also a sweet spot for private parties and celebrations of all kinds!

Overview:

Cotton Candy Cupcake!! Kara's... Sprinkles, move over! Went just to try the Cotton Candy and Bubble Gum cupcakes! Besides that two of my favorite things to combine are Cake and Champagne...what a concept eh? I did also tried the Lemon and Chocolate Mint. All the flavors were really really good and left me wanting more, not hard to do however if it was too sweet I wouldn't have been able to stand it!! Cake is nice and dense and the frosting isn't too sweet....a perfect combination for a perfect cupcake if you ask me! I'm sure we've all had a cupcake where the frosting was just WAY too sweet and it killed the cupcake. Surprise surprise my absolute favorite was the Cotton Candy...I knew it would be! If you look up you will see these colorful lights hanging from the ceiling, sort of looking like electric gum balls that change colors, which just enhances the sugar high!

There also are other yummy things on the menu like red velvet batter deep friend chicken and tater tots which seems to be pretty popular...but the Cotton Candy Cupcake keeps me coming back!
